I love eating, drinking, and laughing with friends. I love art, but I have to paint at night while my family is sleeping. My husband is an NPR-listening, Libertarian engineer who keeps me grounded. My son is a smiling, laughing, palsied, hydrocephalic angel. Normal babies just aren't this wonderful. My husband calls me the Bird, hence the name of this blog. This is just my life on a page--food, babies, daily drama, decorating, and the like. Welcome.
